Day 8: Not a Lifter in Dam Sight

Kingman, Arizona to Las Vegas, Nevada, Monday 19 October

Day eight, and the final leg of the road trip: from Kingman, Arizona, to Las Vegas, Nevada.

On the way, Pat stopped at the Hoover Dam on the Colorado River, right on the Arizona and Nevada border. From the top you can see the dam's intake towers with Lake Mead stretching out behind them. Next door is the Mike O'Callaghan–Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge, which carries the highway across the canyon.

You won't spot the Lifter in today's photos, hence the title, but you will find it at FABTECH.

That's the end of the road: just over 2,000 miles from Cincinnati to Las Vegas. Thank you to everyone who welcomed us along the way.
