Cylinder Lifter FAQ
Quick answers about the patented Cylinder Lifter: what it lifts, what it costs and how ordering works.
What size and weight of cylinders does it take?
It takes gas cylinders up to 220 lb (safe working load) and about 10" (254 mm) in diameter. It's designed for heavy welding gas cylinders such as argon, argon mixes and oxygen. Never load it beyond 220 lb.
How high can it lift a cylinder?
It lifts cylinders onto platforms up to 10" high. That means you can move a cylinder from the storage rack and set it onto your welding setup without lifting it by hand.
How is it different from a regular cylinder cart or hand truck?
A regular cylinder cart or hand truck moves cylinders along the floor, but someone still has to lift the cylinder onto the welder by hand. The Cylinder Lifter does both jobs: it moves the cylinder and lifts it onto platforms up to 10" high. Nobody has to hug, walk or churn a heavy cylinder into place.
Does it need power or batteries?
No. It's a manually operated lifting cart with no motor or battery. It's a lifting aid, not a hoist or crane.
How big and heavy is the Cylinder Lifter?
It measures 55" x 20" x 18.5" and weighs 57 lb. It has a powder-coated steel frame, 10" puncture-proof wheels, a 2" ratchet strap to hold the cylinder and an anti-slip foot grip.
What does it cost, and what's included?
The Cylinder Lifter costs $1,750, and shipping across the USA is free. Orders arrive in 3-5 business days. Sales tax may be added at checkout where applicable.
What's your return policy?
You're covered by a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you're not satisfied, contact us within 30 days of delivery and send the Lifter back in its original condition and packaging. You pay return shipping unless the return is our mistake, such as a defect or the wrong item, and the refund goes back to your original payment method. If it arrives damaged, please tell us within 3 days of delivery.
What warranty does it have?
The Cylinder Lifter has a 12-month warranty from the date of purchase for the original buyer, covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. Keep your proof of purchase and the batch number marked on the Lifter. Registering takes under two minutes: register your warranty.
Can I use it at home?
The Cylinder Lifter is made for professional and commercial use, and the warranty only covers that kind of use.
Where is it made, and is it patented?
The Cylinder Lifter is made in Dayton, Ohio. It's protected by US Patent No. 10,173,704 B2.
