Route 66 is in the books, and the Lifter's journey continues. Next up: the West Coast, all the way from Los Angeles to Seattle.
Before the drive north, Pat took in the sights of Los Angeles. First stop, Griffith Observatory, high in the hills above the city. Next, the Hollywood Sign, shining white on Mount Lee. Then down to Echo Park Lake, where the Cylinder Lifter struck a pose by the big fountain.
On Wednesday the drive north begins: Santa Barbara, Solvang, Morro Bay and the 17-Mile Drive, ending the day in Monterey.
